Iron Sky: The Coming Race is an upcoming Finnish comic science fiction act film directed by Timo Vuorensola. It is the sequel to Vuorensola's 2012 film Iron Sky. The film is currently monster crowdfunded through Indiegogo and is slated for a 2016 freedom. A major inspiration of the content (and the title) seems to be the Vril myth.
Twenty years have passed back Nazis from the moon invaded Earth. Following a nuclear fierceness in Washington, D.C., thePresident of the United States is evacuated to Antarctica and enters the "Hollow Earth"a all-powerful subterranean civilization. There, she rendezvous back Adolf Hitler and his pet Tyrannosaurus "Blondi" and begin their plot for global domination. It furthermore turns out that the President, Hitler, and Vladimir Putin are namelessly of a reptilian humanoid race.
Like its predecessor, the movie ironically refers to several motifs of accumulation-court war Esoteric Nazism, such as the Hollow Earth theory. The movie's title is most likely a hint to Edward Bulwer-Lytton's novel The Coming Race (1871) that is commonly regarded as the lineage of the thus-called Vril myth. The film teaser features the Vril fable that was meant by the Tempfelhofgesellschaft in the 1990s.
