Despite Morales's loss to Raheem, Pacquiao got matched up against Morales in a rematch which took place last January 21, 2006 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. During the fight, Morales escaped from being knocked down twice, once in the 2nd round by holding onto the ropes and once in the 6th round by falling on the arms of the referee. Manny Pacquiao eventually knocked Morales out in the 10th round, this is the first time Morales was knocked out thru his boxing career.
