A 23-year-old Pilot Beauty Queen won this year’s Miss Globe Philippines title at the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 held in Araneta Coliseum on Sunday April 30, 2017.

Nelda Cunan Ibe, from Brgy. Burot, represented the Tarlac in the contest. She credits her win to faith and support from her family and friends.

She didn't win the title that a lot of Tarlakenyo had hoped she would get on Sunday's coronation night, April 30, but Nelda C. Ibe says that she is just grateful for what she now has – the Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2017 crown.

"Do not let yourself be forced into doing anything before you are ready." -Wilbur Wright. She patterned her life with this simple yet meaningful quotation. Now she can say, "I'm ready to do both- to become a PilotBeautyQueen."

The 21-year-old Tarlakenya is keeping her head held high. She said she is content and ready to fulfill her role as the Miss Globe Philippines 2017 winner.
